Category Description

The tasks of the category will be based on the curriculum-based training of a basic vocational degree in Metalwork and Machinery and study program of Welding and its level 3 requirements (on a scale of 1-3). The competitors will be given drawings and instructions (written and/or oral) after which the competitor will prepare the competition work with the provided materials.

The successful competitor should have mastery of the following skills: ability to read drawings, sheet metal and welding skills as described in the degree requirements, the mastery of the use of the basic welding industry machinery and manual tools, recognition of the welding signs and symbols, and to work according to safety rules and regulations.
