As well as being competent in horse grooming, professionals are also able to serve customers and to work as entrepreneurs. They are responsible, independent, quality-conscious and cooperative. Horse grooming professionals are aware of costs, and also apply the principles of sustainable development in their actions. Horse grooming professionals plan their work, and follow safety rules and regulations. They are aware of the significance of their personal health and working ability to the stable. In addition to the basic skills, the degree provides graduates with specialized skills as either a horse groom working in different sectors of the horse trade, or as a riding instructor.
