TaitajaPLUS: Preparatory and Rehabilitative Training

The Preparatory and Rehabilitative Training is a TaitajaPLUS competition demonstration category in 2011.

In Preparatory and Rehabilitative training the students plan either the vocational education or work for after the vocational training, and an independent life. The goal in the training is to receive information and skills about learning skills, about vocational education, about professional work skills, about working life, and about the daily routine and management of an independent life.

The students in Preparatory and Rehabilitative training show their skills, according to a common theme, in a building, work or disassembly task, as well as skills in the documentation of the work, and presentation to the audience.

The T-shirts worn by the competition participants have been printed by the students in the Preparatory and Rehabilitative training. Pedagogical descriptions of the demonstration category task activities have been produced in written and picture documents during the practice of the competition performance.

Participants include among others, the Luovi Vocational College, the Bovallius Vocational College and the Savo Vocational College Preparatory and Rehabilitative training student groups from Savo, OstroBothnia and Central Finland. The category supervisory group chooses the groups to be invited to the demonstration upon the basis of registration.

Notification of the specific time of the demonstration category in the Taitaja2011 Finals will be made in February.
