Category Description
Car mechanics maintain, repair and equip vehicles according to their customers' wishes, while taking into account the environment and sustainable development.
In their versatile work they need mechanical installation skills, knowledge of electrical engineering and information technology, and customer service skills. They also need a good command of languages in their repair work as well as in serving customers.
Due to the rapid increase of electronics in vehicles, troubleshooting requires the knowledge of systems and skill in the use of diagnostic devices. This extensive training provides automotive mechanics with a good foundation for other positions within the automotive field in industry, logistics, or in sales of spare parts. Establishing your own garage and entrepreneurship are also a good option in the automotive industry.
